TraderTileThe short version
TraderTile is local-first. On the free plan your trades are written to your browser's own storage (IndexedDB) and are never uploaded. There is no copy of your trading record on any server, because the free plan does not send one.
Premium adds an optional cloud backup so your journal appears on your other devices. That is the one case where your trades leave your machine, and it happens because you paid for it to.
What is stored, and where
On your device, always
Every trade, trading account, tag and goal you create is stored in your browser under thetradertile IndexedDB database. Clearing your browser storage for this site deletes it, and nothing else can.
On our servers, only if you sign in
- Your Google account email and name, received from Google when you sign in. This is how an account is identified. We never receive your Google password.
- Your plan status — free or premium, and when a paid plan expires.
- A payment record per purchase — the provider, their transaction id, the SKU and the amount. This is what makes a purchase grant exactly one plan, even if the provider sends the same notification twice.
- Your trades, accounts and goals — premium only. Free accounts have no cloud copy at all; the server refuses to store one.
What is never stored
- Card numbers and payment credentials. Checkout happens on Dodo Payments' own pages. We are told that a payment succeeded — never how it was paid for.
- Broker or exchange credentials. TraderTile does not connect to trading accounts, so there is nothing to ask for.
Who else is involved
- Google — sign-in only, so that an account can exist.
- Dodo Payments — payment processing. It receives the email address associated with the purchase. Mayar processed payments in rupiah until September 2026; it holds the records of purchases made through it while it was in use.
- Cloudflare — hosting, and the database premium backups are stored in.
Your trading data is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone for advertising.
If a paid plan lapses
The trades on your device are untouched — they were always yours and they never left. The cloud copy is kept for three months, and the deletion date is shown in the app before it arrives. Re-subscribing inside that window resumes sync against the same data. After three months the cloud copy is deleted permanently.
Deleting your account
Email support@tradertile.com and the server-side copy of your account and any synced trades will be deleted. Your local copy stays on your device until you clear it yourself.
